Introducing Lakeview Lodges to The Patterdale Hall Estate

We are excited to announce the arrival of our exclusive Lakeview Lodges to The Patterdale Hall Estate; the Kestrel, Osprey, and Buzzard lodges.

As many of our guests and social media followers will already know, this has been an ongoing, long-haul project that we have put a lot of effort and resources into over the past couple of years. But it is all finally coming together and seeing the Lakeview Lodges on the Estate is something we are all incredibly proud of. The addition of the Lakeview Lodges marks the final instalment of our development plans that were originally set out in the 1960s.

Finished to the highest standard, and with phenomenal views over the lake, the Kestrel, Osprey and Buzzard are our most premium lodges on the Estate. Each of the Lakeview Lodges brings a unique flair, but which lodge is your favourite?

If you are a fan of a classic English country cottage interior, then the Kestrel is the lodge for you. Featuring an open plan living, dining and kitchen space, a spacious double bedroom with an ensuite, a bunk room that sleeps up to four, and a large family bathroom with both a bath and shower, the Kestrel is the perfect option for a family getaway.

The Osprey offers a modern spin on a traditional log cabin interior, with faux fur throws and wood finishes throughout. This two bedroom lodge features a modest double room with ensuite, a twin room, family bathroom with a bath and shower, and an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, great for socialising with the whole family. If you are looking for a cosy getaway this winter, then the Osprey is the perfect match for you.

The Buzzard is the lodge for you if you are wanting to stay somewhere that is both modern and rustic. This Lakeview Lodge features two spacious double rooms with their own ensuites, situated at opposite ends of the property, with a central open plan living space with lounge, kitchen and dining. 

For the dog lovers, our Lakeview Lodges are all dog friendly, so now you can experience the Estate and everything we have to offer with your furry companions. This is something that has been highly requested by previous guests, and we decided to listen and make our Lakeview Lodges suitable for all.

Although the Lakeview Lodges are beautifully designed, the real showstopper is the view. Situated near our lakeshore, the Lakeview Lodges have breathtaking views of Lake Ullswater in the Lake District. If it couldn’t get any better, all of the Lakeview Lodges feature large front decks and open spaces, so you can make the most of the view all year round!

There are still some finishing touches being made to the Lakeview Lodges, but they will be available to book within the next few weeks, with availability starting from the 2nd December, just in time for a cosy Christmas getaway.
