Assistant Manager
We are searching for a self starting highly motivated individual to join our Patterdale team as an Assistant Manager.

Job Purpose & Description

You will support and report directly to the Operational Manager and take responsibility for delivering excellent customer service to all our guests. You will do this through effective leadership and by leading by example. Your role will involve ensuring guests are happy, high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are kept and that the estate operates effectively and efficiently at all times.

Most importantly, we are seeking an individual with a ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’ as no two days are the same here at Patterdale, therefore, your team spirit and enthusiasm is paramount.

It is essential that you have a flexible approach to your working hours as working hours will include daytime, evenings, weekends and/or bank holidays. However, as one of the most beautiful places to work, whenever you find yourself working, there will be something exciting to partake in before or after as we encourage our employees to make the most of our surroundings which includes Ullswater (if you enjoy a swim) or great local walks and hikes.

The Estate is situated in Patterdale, 1 miles south of Glenridding. The Estate is owned by YMCA North Tyneside, a charity that works to transform the lives of young people in the North East. Surplus (profit) from the Estate’s business goes to support YMCA North Tyneside’s charitable work.

The Estate is perfectly located to explore the best of what the Lake District has to offer and we are surrounded by a variety of walks and fantastic views that you can enjoy before or after your working day or on your days off.
